B2B Marketing vs. Recruitment Marketing
I wrote a post earlier this week Corporate Recruiters help Agencies thrive and survive. Well, in the business world of marketing it seems life is not much different when it comes to automation and tracking!
Read this post over at Infusionsoft Interesting Stats on B2B Marketing & Sales for some views. The table below is from the Marketing Sherpa report which is what the Infusionsoft report was based on.
The terms in the table from a recruiting persepctive convert as below:
- CRM = ATS.
- Lead = Candidate.
- Revenue = Hire.
The real point though is that recruitment is sales and marketing. For those that treat it as such will IMO get better results. But, what I am yet to see are dedicated Recruitment Marketing Managers. Big recruitment teams who are big enough to have a hierarchy should have someone who is focused purely on recruitment marketing. Does anyone know of any such person in an corporate recruitment team?
