Facebook Pages: How to aggregate all of your social feeds direct to your wall

One of the joys of social media is being able to aggregate all of your feeds into one place and then share them via an RSS feed. So using the same process I have been trying to get the same information together then back out again to my Facebook Wall. Now this is a bit of a work in progress job but rather than try and get it perfect before sharing I thought I'd share what I have managed to do so far hoping that someone can come up with a better idea?

So, I started with my favourite Friendfeed as I can add Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc and have them all show up in one place.

I then took the RSS feed from my profile and my first thought was to go to the Facebook Notes App and use the feed URL to "import a blog" function. This would then pull in my updates into the Notes section and also show them on my Wall. Unfortunately, I have not managed to get this working yet but may have a fix. I'll let you know.

So, I thought I'd try one of the RSS Facebook Apps instead. I chose Social RSS which is quite a good App and allows you to have multiple feeds as well as a description and page title. I tried adding my Friendfeed Atom Feed and it appears to have pulled this all in OK. You can also add up to 5 different feeds so rather than use Friendfeed, you could just go out and take the RSS feeds from you different content areas and add them e.g. jobs, twitter, YouTube, Facebook Profile etc. This may work better for some people as it saves the need to create a FF account.

Also, you can have the full feed page as your landing Page as an alternative to the Wall as you can very easily add your own welcome message which I have done. Not quite as sexy as your own FBML App landing page but something anyone can do without technical skills.

Now, I will add that it has been a bit of a faff playing around with this but it does seem to work quite well. I'm not yet sure how well the posting to your wall bit works as it is only showing one post at the moment rather than a full list. The full list is however showing on the RSS/Blog page which is what the Navigation Tab shows as.

As I say, this is a bit of a test as quite a few people have asked how to do this. It's not yet the perfect solution but I reckon that using RSS feeds and the right App that posts to your Wall it may be the solution. Hopefully I've pointed someone in the right direction and we'll get a better answer shortly. If you have any ideas on this please leave a comment.
