Recruiting is a busy job - we all know that. But maybe a bit of fun with candidates is the order of the day. Stop hassling, selling, probing, assessing. Let candidates get to know you and your company. Spend some time on Twitter just having fun. Add some funky videos to YouTube. Make your Facebook Page amusing. Let the real "you" come out for a change. You may find it helps you hire better people!
If it doesn't, at least you'll have had some fun and if your boss says "WTF"; just blame me.
