2009 predictions

I can't really start the year off without a few thoughts so here goes with some predictions!

1. Jobpartners will be acquired by Stepstone.
2. Stepstone will sell off its job boards (to pay for Jobpartners).
3. Broadbean will lose Dan and 50% of its customers.
4. PWC will be exposed for having corporate recruiting blogs that are next to useless (as a blog).
5. Online recruitment will grow again in 2009.
6. There will be one less retail job board by the end of the year.
7. Low cost ATS products such as Taleo Business Edition and Jobscience TalentPath will thrive.
8. The Barkers blog won't have more than 5 new posts by this time next year (so will it survive).
9. Enhance Media will stop talking rubbish i.e. web 3.0.
10. Liverpool will blow the title race.

I reckon at least half of these will be right but don't think Barack will have any more joy than George did in getting Bin Laden!  Have a great 2009.
