The Appointment are still alive!

Theapptmag

Well, its been almost a year since The Appointment got my attention with a few posts about how nice they were (not) and here we are again; just in time for their bumper issue and the Career Forums.  Even after a year our online discussions are still in the top 5 slots on Google!  So what's it like almost a year on?

Nothing much has changed really.  Some good content albeit most is already old news, Ed Waller still reporting as if he is writing for Sun readers (I think he needs to take a few positive pills) and the back half full of adverts and the Career Forum.  As usual plenty of advertising for RHR, Inretail and Retail Careers but why not; they have to advertise somewhere.

So what about career forums?

They have a swanky new site which is very easy to use although they missed out big time on SEO what with all those great brand names such as:

  • BP.
  • Boots.
  • WH Smith.
  • Tesco.
  • Costa.
  • Mothercare and many more as shown below.
