Salesforce in action

Imagine you called a really important applicant by a different name every time someone different in your HR team made contact; they'd be both impressed and feel really special - NOT.  Wouldn't exactly demonstrate your value of 'treating people like individuals'.

I suppose when buying a CRM tool from one of the best in the business, Salesforce, I could at least expect they could get my first name correct, considering I typed it into the form in the first place!  (Yes, it was correct). Clearly Paul, Phil and Peter are:

  1. Not that special.
  2. Making up the sales pipeline (three leads in one day, wow).
  3. Going to buy SugarCRM.

A simple mistake of course, so if I send you the same e-mail three times, with a different name, you'll know I got a deal with Salesforce after all.
