Groundswell | The social technology discussion

Groundswellbook_2 Groundswell, amongst many other things, in the latest incarnation is a book written by two Forrester analysts with practical, data-based strategies for companies that want to harness the power of social technologies like blogs, social networks, and YouTube.

I have ordered my copy and await delivery from Amazon at which point I will do a review of the book and its content.  In the meantime, there is a forum which is just starting to gain traction with some interesting debates already started.

The introduction on the website talks about customers and products but as ever I think there is a strong connection for recruitment and taking a quote from the authors with regards to blog posts, comments, Facebook discusions etc:

"These are all elements of a social phenomenon — the groundswell — that has created a permanent, long-lasting shift in the way the world works."

Recruitment will (also) change forever!
