RIP The disAppointment Magazine

I can only assume that The disAppointment Magazine is no more as since upsetting them I no longer get a copy.  Surely they have not just cancelled my free copy in fear of giving me yet more blog content?

Or, did Lynne do something?  Or is Lynne in hiding from them?  Or did I really expose Lynne?

Now Lynne was really not very nice to me until the daddy got involved.  You see, Lynne was maybe not quite as smart as she liked to point out as although she continued to send e-mails to me at all times, even telling me she was sending her e-mail from home as that was where her office was, I even managed to have her respond on a Saturday evening - from home!  The problem is, that most people think they are safe by using a Yahoo account and it is not possible to trace them; but guess what, you are not always as well hidden as you think.

Now, naughty Lynne was always logged on to a specific Internet account with an IP address that was a Demon account.  In the early days one could name their account as they chose so I could have had petergold.demon.net.

Peter_burgess Based on our technical investigations into the source of the e-mails, we have conclusive evidence that the e-mails were being sent from a computer attached to an Internet account in the name of Peter Burgess, previously the Managing Director of Inretail, one of the job boards that Lynne claimed would not deal with me (Peter of course confirmed Lynne was wrong).  The e-mails were however being sent by Lynne Sweeney who claimed to work from home where the current Internet account was used.

Luckily I was able to point this out to Peter as Lynne had obviously managed to hack into his Internet account somehow and make it look like he was involved - so whilst Lynne was away on holiday Peter intervened.  Even though Lynne claimed she did not know any of the job boards that would not deal with me, she had set-up a new domain name whilst she was away (better hidden this time) using a names by proxy service, but for some strange reason had given the then 1 week old e-mail address to Peter so he could contact her (whilst she was away).  Thankfully this mean't that Peter was able to contact her and make it quite clear that she must stop her attack on me - which she did!

But, where is she now?  Did she come back from America?  Is she locked in in Guantanamo Bay?  Is she still swimming in the Thames?  Either way, the daddy stopped her for me.  What a team, what a saviour, what luck we stopped her.
