How to recruit - HR should read and learn!

Amongst the carnage of our recent earthquake (5.2 so it's a real one) and the Microsoft/Yahoo acquisition, MS corporate recruiters have not missed the opportunity to start pillaging before the ship even goes down!

A post on Silicon Alley Insider 'Microsoft to Yahoos: Come Work Here' shows the kind of contact that MS recruiters are capable of.

I am a member of Microsoft's marketing staffing team. We’re seeking world class employees to help us create products that help people and businesses throughout the world realize their full potential.

The rest of the e-mail can be read on Silicon Alley but if nothing else it shows the skill level of corporate recruiters in the US compared to those in the UK. 

I'd be delighted to be wrong!!
