Who's got the best career site?

A question I'm often asked and find it quite hard to give a definitive answer as in a lot of cases it is very subjective as to 'who's is best'.

Recruiter Magazine published an article recently titled 'How useable is your website?' which was an interesting start point.

In my opinion a review would look something like this:

  1. How easy is it to find the site either in search engines or from the corporate site.
  2. What is the first impression? (This can involve flash!)
  3. How usable is the site and is it w3c compliant?
  4. Is the navigation easy to use or just plain confusing?
  5. Is the content both useful and inspiring?
  6. Are there any extras that differentiate the employer from others such as diversity, culture, CSR?
  7. What is the application process like - efficient or clunky and slow?
  8. How quickly does someone respond to you?

With the above in mind we have selected 100 companies to review and will be publishing our findings in the new year.
