Owners of The Appointment threaten legal action against UK blogger
Upon returning from my jaunt in the Amazon jungle I received this lovely letter from Associated Northcliffe Digital, the owners of Jobsite and The Appointment magazine in response to my post 'The Appointment - will it survive?'
So, in order to give them full exposure to support their claims I have shown their comments in full so that everyone can make up their own minds - who am I to have an opinion?
I mean, a bumper issue that is the second highest revenue earner this year is well, surely not maybe where they hoped it would be? And being the ninth highest in 10 1/2 years - well shouldn't it be higher than that if they are growing so fast?
As for RHR advertising - take it out of my calculation and it still shows 55% as 'internal' advertising so hardly makes it any better does it.
And how dare I suggest that print advertising is shrinking and that online is taking over - maybe Google could help me out here??
So Mary, Adam and gang. You can make whatever comments you wish on this blog; it is an open forum. It's a brave new World we live in where bullies can no longer rely on legal threats and big deep pockets. And how you can have the audacity to threaten me with legal action for making derogatory comments makes me laugh and scares me not one bit.
I will continue to write my blog and you can continue to send as many of your petty little letters as you choose; I have plenty of ammunition to fire back so bring it on.
