Travelodge expansion plans

So Travelodge are after retail managers to fill their management vacancies!  They plan to create 750 new jobs in London alone to cater for the Olympics in 2012 by opening 20 new hotels with 3,500 new rooms according to The Appointment magazine.

And guess who's going to be helping them; RHR, best friends of said magazine!

What I really do not understand though, is why HR Directors continue to dole out these kind of assignments to agencies.  Granted, RHR are probably the best retail agency so at least Chrissie Herbert has chosen an agency that will do a good job, but why not do a little more themselves?

Peter Burgess, RHR Managing Director will no doubt be smiling.
