Myspace - Mydetails - Ornot!

How available are your personal details on Myspace?

I had a look at the site terms that appear to state that Myspace can do pretty much anything with your data - within reason of course.  So, I thought I'd look at the privacy agreement, the one that I need to continuously read as it can be changed at anytime as can the site terms.  But, it is not on the site and can only be requested by e-mail!

So, going back to my post yesterday, how much will people pay for access to profiles of people by name?  Not just employers looking for new hires, but employers checking on current and prospective employees.  Is a Myspace profile really a great place to publish your ramblings, photo's, sexual desires etc.  I'm sure the majority of Myspace users are not even thinking about it like this as they think their details are only available to anyone they 'friend' but maybe all is not quite as it seems!

Is it the new place to advertise jobs?  Maybe.  Is it the new Monster CV database - if Newsquest think so, then yes it is.
